ALL SAINTS PARISH CHOIR:
Call for Choir Members
We are seeking volunteers to join our choir (especially male voices). You don’t need to be able to read music, just be willing to participate in the joy of singing and giving praise to our Lord through the gift of music. It was St Augustine who said, “the one who sings prays twice.”
We practice every Thursday evening at 7:30 for an hour to prepare the hymns for the following Sundays at 11:30 Mass.
If you feel like you cannot commit for the whole year, please consider joining us to sing just for Christmas. We are looking forward to seeing you! Please contact Brian at brianbonnici@rocketmail.com or call 416-522-5205 for more details or just come to a rehearsal.
Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord! (Psalm 95:1)
St. Augustine wrote that one who sings prays twice. Music is one of the single most important elements of the liturgy. However, the music minister is not a performer, but a servant, encouraging and leading the people of God in song.
Our Music Ministry enriches the spiritual lives and liturgical experience of the parish community by providing religious song and the music necessary for our parish community to experience sung prayer at the Mass.
We provide for the personal spiritual growth and the musical enrichment of each of our members through their participation in this ministry.
